Variations in meaning, form, definition of God/god

The most basic meaning of god is, 'who or something is worshiped'

- The earliest form of worship is considered to be animism or dynamism. Namely the worship of spirits / plants

- worship of idols (statues made of stone, wood, metal etc.). The shape of this statue is mostly the result of fiction, imagination, sometimes in the form of animals

- worship of the 'sun' because it is considered a source of light on earth

- worship of gods if Hinduism = Brahmin, Shiva, Indra, (Krishna as the incarnation of God). Greek = zeus etc. Roman = god Jupiter etc, Scandinavian countries = god Odin. Japanese/Egyptian = sun god

- worship of the 'creator' of heaven and earth = the universe. According to divine teachings, it starts from the prophet Adam (although some argue that there were humans before Adam).

The embodiment/form of god

- There are those who interpret God as merely a 'personal substance', that is, a subject to be worshiped outside of humans. Who has all power & infinity.

God's existence is often represented/manifested in miracles, miracles. As an example from the Celestials, when Musa wanted to know the form of God, and was asked to see a mountain, then the mountain collapsed. Or the miracle of the sea being parted. For those who believe the past events are real as proof. But for the current generation who don't believe the incident is just a fairy tale, because they haven't seen it for themselves

- There are also those who believe that God can manifest in manunggaling kawula gusti. The followers/worshippers of God are like one body of God. It doesn't mean that someone is a god, but a group of congregations is the embodiment of god on earth. There are those who call the kingdom of Allah, Caliphate, Papacy, Priesthood, God's country on earth.

In analogy with the concept of God's State, that God who is worshiped/served = can be transformed into an ideological system. So a group of people who agree on a system of ideology, organization, party = can be interpreted as the 'existence of God' in another meaning.

Some even think that 'money' is a form of modern idols.

So if there are atheists who ask about the existence of God, they can refer to the forms of God above.
